I’m very happy for this wonderful day. I thank God for letting me see this great day and also  my parents for taking good care of me till this time. To my love Festus, I don’t know the words to use to express my love to you. All I can say is you are a God sent into my life and hoping for the best in our marriage.

I thank God almighty for sailing me through life till this far. Though the hard time in life is now but I believe since he made this happen he will surely grant us protection till he come in his glory. All thanks go to my family and also to everybody gathered here to witness our marriage. May  he replenish every little thing lost and grant you all your heart desires Amen.

Never relent when given a Bad Dosage from a friend, lover, wife, husband, siblings or parents. Atongo made things bad for Suzy. But she realised she had life to give meaning to. When things seem bad, hold on to your faith and remember, 6 o’clock comes twice in time before the day ends.

When your 6 o’clock is not up, never die from the Bad Dosage. Never hold on to your pains. Never drink something to kill yourself. God has the right plan for you. Keep on keeping on. If you are Festus, hold on and don’t dance to the tune of the music of success. Pray that God be your guide till the end.

When she got close, Festus knelt down and took something from his pocket. He opened it and it was a ring.

‘’Will you walk with me to the church alter?’’ Festus asked.

‘’Y-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-s-s-s-s-s-s-s. I will marry you’’ Suzy said stretching her hand for Festus to put the ring on her left finger.

He stood up, hugged her, and gave her a mild kiss. They were all happy and excited for that day. People were watching and happy for them.

‘’Why did you make that decision to marry me at the extent of knowing about my past?’’ Suzy asked looking surprised.

‘’I decided to marry you even when I never knew your past. I know your past and that doesn’t change my mind from loving and marrying you. I know your past now but don’t know your future. What life wants for us is the future. The past was bound to happen to make us strong for the things in the future. I see in you great things for the future and also see in you, a strong lady who has stood firm for the struggles, pains and hardships in the past’’ Festus said holding her hands and looking into her eyes.

Suzy stood there and tears rolled down her chick. She was short of words and never expected Festus would fall for her past to the extent of marrying her. She couldn't believe her ears nor her eyes. She wished she never said more of her past but it turned into a miracle.

In less than a month, Festus went to meet her parents and arranged for the wedding ceremony. The church was full to its capacity causing others to sit outside. The vows were exchanged and the pastor told Festus to kiss his bride. He unveiled her and he saw her in tears. He kissed her passionately and wiped her face.

They took some pictures and went to the refreshment hall. There were varieties of food at everybody’s disposal. They called the newly wedded bride and groom to say something. They walked majestically to the floor with Suzy’s hand under Festus’s armpit.

‘’Oh!! You want to know the truth? I’m a true virgin’’ Festus said smiling.

‘’Woooooooow!! Then you are a good guy. How I wish I’m a fresh virgin but I believe I’m still a virgin cos; it’s been almost five years I had sex and I can feel the contraction in my v-hole’’ Suzy added.

For diseases, I had many to the extent that any time I go to the hospital, the doctor won’t even allow me to say my problem but will diagnose me of Sexually Transmitted Diseases’’ Suzy said in low tone feeling hurt.

How I wish I have sister’s I can share my experience or advise them. I never gave chances to the guys that ruined my happiness. I’m talking about my Ex’s. I’ve spoiled most of them, their marriage and some too, their relationships. But I’m a changed person now. I wish friends in such acts will seek for advice and also pray more. Let your parents know everything you do.

They called each other when they got to the house and slept. Monday passed and in the evening, Festus called Suzy reminding her about their date. She promised to be there on time because of her work load.

‘’Mummy, please I want to tell me something’’ I said calling the attention of my dad.

‘’What is it, tell us we are listening’’ my mum said.

I was afraid and wished I never told them I have something to discuss with them.

‘’Mummy, it’s about school’’ I said scratching my head and fondling with my dress.

‘’Tell us. Are the students worrying you, or the teachers are maltreating you?’’ my mother asked seeming worried.

‘’It’s not that mummy. I want you to come and pick me always from school. I always get tired when I walk and also  feel dizzy when learning in the evening’’ I said looking at their faces for an answer.

‘’Okay my daughter, consider it done’’ my mum assured.

‘’Yes at long last, my plans has worked well. I will tell Atongo about this early tomorrow morning’’ I said in my head.

‘’Suzy you need to go to bed now it’s late’’ my mum said.

I quickly went to my room, locked the door, prayed and slept. My dad turned the television off and they also went to bed. I slept very well that evening. I had dreams I couldn’t even remember the next morning.

‘’So what should I do now? Sake myself before they send me away in disgrace?’’ Atongo probed loosing appetite for the orange.

‘’Hmmm, if you think it will work for you. My brother I heard the accountant telling the headmaster there won’t be any payment for this month cos the money in the account is not enough’’ Idrusu said squeezing some of the orange in his mouth.

‘’Is this what you said you saw and heard or there is something different you saw and heard?’’ Atongo asked to be well cleared on his thoughts.

‘’Yes my brother oooh. What again could I have heard or seen. Unless you saw or heard something I need to listen’’ Idrusu said throwing the seed of the orange away from his mouth.

‘’Oooooh nothing! Absolutely nothing! I’ve heard nothing’’ Atongo said feeling relieved and secured.

‘’Then this is not fare at all. We have been receiving half payment for the past five months and this month no payments, thus very bad. We need to do something’’ Atongo added getting up from his chair drinking the orange.
They heard a car horn and it was the parents of Suzy.

Atongo told Idrusu to open the gate whiles he go and call Suzy for her parents. He went and gave the last warning to Suzy as he held her hand to the car. She gave a wild smile and they drove off.

BAD DOSAGE EPISODE 03

Festus, it all started when I was in class three. All my friends and even my parents called me ‘Suu’. I was the best in class and very smart as the teachers always say. I led praises and worship every Wednesday durung school church service. I was admired by my classmates and even the school gateman.

Things were going on well as the days went by. One day, the school gardener called me and told me to wait behind when school close cos my parents would come to take me somewhere. I was very happy cos I really loved surprises. What the gardener told me was moving all over my memories and I kept thinking of the place they would take me.

Something came into my mind when our teacher caned our class prefect for not writing the date on the board. We laughed at her cos she was rude and always wanted the best for herself.

Festus to cut everything short, school was over and almost everybody in the school had gone home leaving me, the gardener, and the gateman. I was hungry and started dozing off in-front of the gate. The gateman noticed I wasn’t having a good sleep so he took me to his cubicle and lay me on a small mat.

‘’Festus sent me to come and call you. There he is’’ he said pointing to Festus.

Festus raised his hand and gave her a wave. She gave a fake smile and the man took her to meet him. Festus thanked the man and he left. Festus took Suzy’s purse and walked with her to a very quiet place.

‘’Sorry I got you frightened by the man. I’m very sorry’’ Festus apologised giving her a tap as they sat in the sofa chair.

‘’Don’t worry am okay now have seen you’’ she said looking into his eyes.

Festus called the waiter to give them some drinks. They talked about life and asked her questions about how she wants her marriage to be. She talked and said a lot that was very convincing. She disclosed the pains and grief she has been through in the hands of guys. The numerous sex and abortions she has committed. She lied by telling him, she has had six abortions and slept with thirteen men of which she dated ten from the thirteen.

Tears rolled down as she explained and talked about her past to him. Festus was quiet and shocked by her words. He dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out his handkerchief to wipe her tears. He gave her some of the drink to take to calm her nerves down.

BAD DOSAGE EPISODE 01

I used to think I was interesting person, but I must tell you how sobering a thought it is to realise your life’s story fills about thirty-five pages and you have, actually, not much to say. Life is the funny thing that happens to you on the way to the grave.

The only thing I regret about my life is the length of it. If I had to live my life again I’d make all the same mistakes- only sooner. Life is a shit sandwich and every day you take another bite.

It was six o’clock and the church bell is ringing, birds wheeling, cats meowing, and people ready to meet the lord to worship. This was a great day for Festus a twenty-eight year old guy. He lived a single through his life. He had chances to date but he chose his education first. He works in one of the biggest companies in Takoradi.

After his master’s education, he decided to look for a lady to date and marry. Through his search and endless prayers, he met Suzy, a banker. Suzy has worked as a banker for more than two years and done with her first degree in the University of Ghana. She has dated severally from class three but currently not dating.

She knew the pros and cons in dating and has vowed to make her last date lead into marriage. Their dating started very well when Festus started saving at her bank. He loved the smile she gave him anytime he comes to the banking hall. She sometimes helps him leave fast by calling him from the queue, and helping him in his transaction.

One day, he asked her out and she agreed to it. They had fun at the beach, discussing about work and telling each other something about themselves. The chemistry was working very well as the days goes by. They met every weekend to have fun and realise some of the stress they’ve been through at work.

Things were the same and Festus hasn’t proposed marriage to her. She felt things were going to be the same as some of the guys who came around her. She has been disappointed several times and seeing one coming was no exception with Festus.

On the phone:

‘’Swydy, please can you meet me at Hill Chris Plaza?’’ Festus asked.

‘’Sure I will be there in twenty minutes time’’ she replied.

‘’Okay dear, I will be waiting for you then’’ he added.

He taught she won’t honour his invite because; it was eleven o’clock in the evening and it’s very late.

Suzy took a taxi and went straight to the plaza. She saw some people dancing and drinking at the spot. Because she was afraid, she left her phone in the house to avoid any robbery. She stood there wondering where Festus was. She moved from one end to the other but never saw him.

She held her purse hard. Her sparkling dress caught the attention of everybody in the plaza. She noticed people were looking at her, which made her heart to beat and circulate all over her body. Fear was now in her eyes.
